Buffet dinner was decent, views and location good.

Alphine cafe was very average. Toasted sandwhich is microwaved and fried on one side. Breakfast crossaint barely toasted, still cold. Breakfast burrito came out as slop.

Bathroom had a mouldy smell and there was toothpaste smeared on the inside of the bathroom door

Reception, without even looking at the computer screen we were greeted with “Rooms not ready, check in is 3.00pm” and that was that. It was 2.45

Obviously, the view from the room was spectacular. All,staff encountered were friendly and helpful. The activities offered were good and the glacier lake boat trip was amazing. Room was spacious and very warm.

We found it very difficult to get parking - had to walk a long way with heavy bags. You need more casual dining for more hours - we don’t want restaurant meals all the time. We kept running out of milk for tea and coffee in our room and there was nowhere to buy any. Maybe a little outlet for some essentials.
